Physically located at 27 Doyle Street in a building originally built in 1906, the Cornerstone Restaurant takes up the space that used to be the shoe and young men's departments of Gallant Belk. The Cornerstone Restaurant's rustic hardwood floors and exposed brick walls sets the stage and atmosphere for an exciting dining experience. In 2010 the Cornerstone Restaurant on Doyle re-opened in the remodeled building. Where once children and adults mingled and shopped for clothing and home necessities, the community now dines and reconnects. Living up to their strong tradition of history and character, they are serving the community a fusion of old favorites and new flair.
